Join our team at our very busy cafe located within the Poirier Sports and Leisure Centre in Coquitlam. As a Cafe Manager, you will play a crucial role working beside our GM in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and contributing to the success of our food service establishment.

**Duties**:

- Supervise cafe operations, including food preparation, customer service, and cleanliness maintenance.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks and support in catering event preparations.
- Provide top-notch customer service to enhance the overall dining experience for patrons.
- Manage inventory levels, restock supplies as necessary, and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Address and resolve issues efficiently during busy events while maintaining a calm demeanor.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and assist in team management tasks.

**Skills**:

- Prior experience in a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- Proficiency in food service and restaurant management practices
- Familiarity with catering events and platter preparation is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and assist with team management duties.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety protocols.
- Willingness to learn and contribute across various areas of the cafe and concessions as needed.

**Requirements**:
Must hold a valid class 5 drivers license

Must hold a valid food safe certificate

Must hold a serving it right certificate

Must have flexibile availability

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
