**SCALE HOUSE OPERATOR JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Scale House Operator**

Weigh in trucks and generate tickets

Manage listings for residential cash deposits

Ensure visitors sign in/out

Ensure all people who enter the site are wearing appropriate PPE

Receive complaints and escalate to site manager

File all inspections/records after they go through site manager

Send out mid and end of day reports to management

Manage residential bins

Provide administrative support (i.e. filing of employee records; scanning paperwork for head office) while maintaining confidentiality

Keep scale house neat and clean - dust, vacuum and wash floors as required

Keep scale free of sand and gravel by regular sweeping during the summer months and free of snow by regular winter snow removal

Keep outside of scale house neat and free of garbage and litter

**HEALTH AND SAFETY**
- Use required PPE and safeguards
- Follow the established safe work practices and procedures
- Participate in health and safety activities in the workplace
- Report workplace hazards and contraventions to the site manager

PPE Required

→ CSA approved 8” safety boots
→ High visibility vest/clothes
→ Eye protection
→ Cold weather gear

*Class 5 drivers license and your own transportation to and from Site is required.

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Saskatoon, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
