Electric Love Bakeshop is expanding and looking to hire a Head Baker to join our growing team. The job involves baking a variety of desserts such as cookies, cupcakes, brownies and squares, and pies. Ability to decorate sugar cookies and cupcakes would be a great asset. This role would also oversee inventory and supplies and receive shipments. You would be part of a fun small team of 5 staff.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3-4 years of previous bakery experience
- Has a degree in pastry arts or several years experience in a bakery instead of formal education.
- Ability to lift up to 20kg bags of flour and sugar
- Valid Food Handler's Certificate

Hours are flexible, generally 4-5 days per week with around 32-40 hours per week. We are closed every Saturday and all statutory holidays, so you will always have those days off to enjoy with friends and family. We are a kosher bakery, so we are closed for all Jewish holidays and we are very flexible about giving time off for our staff for Christmas and other holidays. We are closed every Stat holiday as well.

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
