**Assistant Baker/Pastry Cook**
Monte Bakery looking to grow our team with passionate and dedicated individuals who are committed to working in a 'slow(yes, you see this correct)'-paced kitchen environment.
Working with the Head Baker, Jin-owner, the Assistant baker/Pastry cook learns, prepares, and creates basic and interesting baked goods served at Monte. The Pastry Cook contributes to the guest experience by creating memorable viennoiseries such as croissants and others.
*QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 or more years of experience in pastry arts (less experience is ok if you're willing to learn)
- Formal training in classical pastry arts preferred
- Knowledge of basic pastry/baking preparations such as cookies, cakes, creams, mousses, bread, etc
- Understanding basic baking ingredients and their properties
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent (currently Thu-Sat, and slowly increase more time and days)
**Salary**: $15.00-$18.00 per hour (as how you do in the kitchen during the probation period normally first 3 months, you will be deserved better compensation)
