We are interviewing for an office Bookkeeper. Our business is a rapidly expanding Road Maintenance and Restoration Company. Our search is for a new team member who is experienced with daily Bookkeeping and can make valuable contributions to the organization.
This person will be aiding in the day-to-day operations with the President and Sales Manager of the company.
- Work in a polite and professional manner with all Employees and Management.
- Adhere to all legislated regulations regarding safety and working standards.
- Ability to complete daily detailed logs and reports, as requested.
- Must have strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- MUST be reliable and punctual; MUST have can do attitude.
- **Must have full and proven working knowledge of**:
- Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Journal Entries, Payroll, Filing and calculating GST/HST Filing and calculating Source Deductions, Filing and calculating Corporate Tax, Filing and calculating WSIB, ROE's, T4's, T4A etc. Monthly Reconciliation of Bank and Major Credit Cards, Monthly Reconciliation of Inter-company accounts, Year End closing procedures, Amortization, Business Administration.
- Knowledge of Group Benefits and procedures, MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word, Business Administration,
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience Quick Books On-Line.
- Must be a self-starter working with minimum supervision.
- Must have Bookkeeping related degree or College or University Degree
- **Two or more references required.**:
- Position is full time.
- This is NOT a remote position; we are in Stoney Creek
**Salary**: TBD, Based on Experience
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
