**Primary Role**: Physically fulfilling terminal’s product transfer orders and participating in all related physical inventory management and quality control activities in the safest, most efficient way possible.
**Specific Responsibilities**
- Adhering to terminal’s processes and procedures regarding product transfers, quality assurance, and safety and operations as outlined by CN, IBS, and each of the various shippers whose products and inventory the terminal is charged with handling and managing as per their service agreements with the company
- Accurately completing all required paperwork and submitting to appropriate management for processing
- Confirming accuracy of all terminal product transfers and loads under care of the individual
- Assisting and taking direction from shift supervisor in day-to-day coordination of product transfer operations including but not limited to sampling, loading into and out of railcars, loading into pneumatic bulk, liquid tank, sea container, box, and flatbed trailer units
- Provide general assistance and support to management and yard personnel wherever required
- Completing all required training and certification required of position and responsibilities
- Receiving approval of management to eventually transfer all products and operate all equipment within the yard
- Participating in the training of new employees
- Assisting in the identification of product and service non-conformance issues and assisting in any required corrective actions
**General Position Objectives**
- Communicating all operational problems, opportunities and issues with management
- Assisting management in streamlining of processes and procedures
- Assist in keeping facility safe and secure for employees, contractors, visitors, and carriers
- Assist in general housekeeping and upkeep of facilities
- High school or GED equivalent
- MUST have valid drivers license;
- Forklift certification an asset;
- 1-2 years equipment operation experience an asset
- 1-2 years Laborer and/or Railway experience an asset
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs; physically fit
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to work shift work, holidays and weekends
- Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as well as Criminal Background Check

**Rôle principal**: Exécuter physiquement les commandes de transfert de produits du terminal et participer à toutes les activités connexes de gestion des stocks physiques et de contrôle de la qualité de la manière la plus sûre et la plus efficace possible.
**Responsabilités particulières**
- Le respect des processus et des procédures du terminal concernant les transferts de produits, l’assurance de la qualité, la sécurité et les opérations, tels qu’ils sont décrits par le CN, IBS et chacun des divers expéditeurs dont le terminal est chargé de manipuler et de gérer les produits et les stocks conformément à leurs ententes de service avec la compagnie
- Remplir avec précision tous les documents requis et les soumettre à la direction appropriée pour traitement
- Confirmation de l’exactitude de tous les transferts de produits terminaux et des chargements sous la garde de la personne
- Aider et suivre les directives du superviseur de quart dans la coordination quotidienne des opérations de transfert de produits, y compris, mais sans s’y limiter, l’échantillonnage, le chargement dans et hors des wagons, le chargement dans le vrac pneumatique, le réservoir de liquide, le conteneur maritime, la boîte et les unités de remorque à plate-forme
- Fournir une aide et un soutien généraux à la direction et au personnel de triage, au besoin.
- Compléter toute la formation et la certification requises pour le poste et les responsabilités
- Recevoir l’approbation de la direction pour éventuellement transférer tous les produits et faire fonctionner tout l’équipement dans la cour
- Participer à la formation des nouveaux employés
- Aider à identifier les problèmes de non-conformité des produits et services et aider à prendre les mesures correctives requises
