Reporting to the Hotel General Manager, the Pool Manager is a “hands-on” role; responsible for managing daily operations of the Hotel's Indoor Waterpark. The Waterpark is a key amenity to the hotel containing a long water slide, a large swimming pool and child's pool area, hot tubs, and an indoor food and beverage terrace.

This is a leadership role as you will be required to coach, motivate, and train pool associates to ensure operational, safety and cleanliness standards are in place. The hours of this position will predominantly be late afternoon/evenings through the week and days or evenings on weekends. This will be altered during summer and school breaks to accommodate family staycations in the hotel. This position could be a Full Time role if you are available every day of the week, especially weekends as this is the peak time for the pool. This also could be a part time role of 24 hours per week; however, organization skills will be key in order to delegate tasks to team-members and to ensure accountability.

In this role you will manage the pool group bookings ensuring that the capacities of the pool are manageable, and are still delivering upon a great guest experience. Cleanliness and safety are a high priority in the pool; therefore, previous pool knowledge would be a great asset, and of course Swimming Pool life safety certificates are necessary.

You will be responsible for ordering of supplies for the Waterpark (this will included safety equipment, operational supplies, and requisition of beverages and novelty items for the terrace).

A close relationship with the maintenance team is essential to ensure everything in the pool is operating at peak performance to ensure guest satisfaction, and employee productivity.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum one year previous pool experience
- Must be mínimally 19 years of age or older and have a valid SIRS certificate
- Hold a Bronze Cross Certificate (or similar life-saving certificate)
- CPR “C” and Standard First Aid Certified
- Prior supervisory experience an asset

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
