We takes pride in providing solid foundation and practical learnings for our students so that they are employment ready once they completed their chosen program ranging from Hospitality, Business, Supply Chain, Nursing and Caregiving.

Currently, we are urgently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Education Assistant instructor who will join our dynamic team on a part-time basis for daytime teaching schedule.

This position requires the instructor to equip students with necessary skills and knowledge to support children and adolescents in education setting. This program focuses on inclusive education principles and specialized support strategies and comprehensive development understanding. The instructor will be using a systematic plan of lectures, demonstrations, discussion groups and independent or group projects to ensure the learning objectives and student experiential learning are meet.

Schedule:
Days: Monday to Wednesday, between 9AM to 2:15PM

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Teach students using a systematic plan with clear learning objectives
- Develop curriculum and prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses
- Prepare, administer and mark tests (when necessary)
- Advise students on program curricula
- Maintain a professional relationship with students while ensuring that their general well-being is also looked after
- Update and maintain grades on a weekly basis
- Keep accurate records of student attendance and report patterns of absence

Qualifications:

- University degree in a child care-related field and a minimum 2 years of industry related work experience OR 10 years of full-time special education assistant experience
- SPED Certificate or Childcare certification is an advantage
