Without you, making the right decisions to maximize profitability and resource utilization in the catering, kitchen, meeting and banquet departments wouldn't taste so good. We're looking for a Director, Food and Beverage who can be positive, assertive and efficient when it comes to planning, organizing and managing departmental operations, and guiding the team towards creative achievements.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
- Develop the offer, action plan and budget around the banquets, meetings and events department as well as the catering department to ensure profitable and smooth operations.
- Participate in the yearly strategic planning meeting with the hotel upper management
- Recruit, welcome, train, support, develop and manage the performance of the department's employees.
- Plan staffing needs in addition to providing them with a safe and pleasant working environment through regular communication as well as good inventory and material management.
- Ensure quality and maintain standards in terms of production, service and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee the service and production sides as one big team.

**WHAT YOU'LL BRING**
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a management role
- Sharp skills in event planning, enhancing service offerings, good sense of time and resource management
- Outgoing personality with a dynamic yet professional attitude
- Proven ability to lead and support teams in all kinds of situations
- Sense of leadership including excellent communication skills
- Bilingualism, an asset, due to the nature of the tasks, or interactions with English-speaking colleagues, partners or customers, anywhere in Canada.
