Standard Broadband operates one of the largest independent networks in Southern Ontario using Microwave and Fiber Optic base transport.

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Resolve network and routing problems
- Monitor and pro-actively address issues that come up
- Maintain backup systems ensuring all devices and nodes are backed up.
- Provision hardware and build network links for new customers and upgrades to current customers
- Maintain VOIP Network, including Hosted PBX, Customer Premise Phone Systems, Phone Line Gateways.
- Maintain documentation on network and other critical processes

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Have at least two (2) years of technical support experience in an ISP/Telecommunications/Service Provider environment
- Must speak fluent English
- Understand and have a working knowledge of VLANs (802.1q)
- Understanding of Broadband Radio and Microwave Radio would be an asset
- Working knowledge of Asterisk SIP server or equivalent would be a plus
- Fluent in Windows desktop and Server operating systems
- Understanding of Traditional Telephone services such as PRI, Analog as well as SIP Trunking and Hosted PBX would be a plus
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Valid Ontario Drivers License (G2 or greater) and own vehicle - this is a MUST have
- Safe Driving record with no suspensions of any kind on your driving abstract

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
