The Equipment Operators are responsible for the safe operation and transport of company equipment (dry vacuum trucks, fork lifts, skid steers) and to provide exceptional service to our clients. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority
- Adhere to all applicable company, customer and legislative codes, regulations, practices, and procedures.
- Promote a positive safety culture through company values.
- Operate, drive and stage various manual transmission units **(dry vacuum truck, forklift, skid steer)**:

- Monitor/communicate hours and refuse work when approaching situations where they may exceed Hours of Service (HOS) laws.
- Complete all required paperwork/documentation (logbook, pre-trip inspection reports, timesheets, etc.) accurately
- Complete required safety paperwork (e.g. JHA, FLHA, equipment checklists, etc.) prior to starting a job task ensuring it is reviewed and signed by the crew.
- Actively participate in health and safety meetings, safety communication, planning, and hazard assessments.
- Utilization of the ELD in all applicable equipment
- Work as part of a team with Clients, Co-workers & Supervisors.

**Requirements**:

- **Minimum class 3 driver’s license** with a clean driver’s abstract
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Safety-focused attitude with experience working in an industrial setting
- Knowledge to perform minor maintenance on units to maintain efficient operation
- Winterize equipment during winter months.
- Possesses cleanliness and organizational skills
- Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned
- Willing and able to travel for extended periods and the ability to work 10-12-hour shifts (including nights and weekends)

**Salary**: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
