As a Student Technical Advisor, you will play a critical role in the success of our college in helping to our adult learners achieve their goals

We are looking for an individual who are passionate about education, possess a recognized Degree or Diploma, and have a strong background in academic, IT, and customer service competencies. As a Student Technical Advisor at AOLCC, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment that supports independent learning activities while providing personalized one-on-one support to our learners.

**Position Overview**

As a Student Technical Advisor at AOLCC Brampton East, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the student experience by providing technical support and ensuring seamless access to our Integrated Learning System (ILS). This hybrid position combines in-person and remote work, offering flexibility while maintaining a strong campus presence.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Student Support: Assist students with account setup, login issues, and navigation of the ILS platform.
- Exam Proctoring: Serve as a proctor for NACC exams, ensuring a secure and standardized testing environment.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Address and resolve IT-related issues, including problems with LDB, Typing Trainer, and student laptops.
- Weekend Coverage: Provide weekend support to Learning Coaches, ensuring continuous assistance for students.
- Online Exam Assistance: Offer support to students during online examinations, addressing any technical challenges promptly.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Technical Proficiency: Strong IT skills, with the ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively assist students and collaborate with staff.
- Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role is an asset.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends as required to support campus operations.
- Empathy and Problem-Solving: Ability to approach challenges with empathy and a solution-oriented mindset.
