The National Indigenous Economic Prosperity Institute (NIEPI)
This institute will positively impact national economic, entrepreneurship, business, policy, and programming across all sectors. The 107 Calls to Economic Prosperity provide a framework for organizations to support Indigenous and societal economic growth, which will support overall wellbeing and parity for Indigenous Peoples. NIEPI will support research, policy, and programming development for organizations seeking this kind of growth.
**Duties**:

- Provide administrative support to the research team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining files, and handling correspondence.
- Assist in the development and analysis of research and metrics related to the 107 Calls to Economic Prosperity in the National Indigenous Economic Strategy for Canada.
- Conduct literature reviews, environmental scans, and gather data from various sources to inform research and report development.
- Help organize and coordinate research-related events, workshops, or presentation.
- Prepare and format research findings, including reports, presentations, data visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in fields related to Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or Indigenous Studies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present research findings clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated interest in Indigenous economic issues and research, together with a familiarity with the National Indigenous Economic Strategy, is an asset.
