We are proud of our work and commitment to create one of the leading workforce, products and services in the Aviation industry. **About the Role**: **Reporting** The Avionics / Electronics Technician reports directly to the Avionics Shop Manager. **Core Competencies** - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written - Positive attitude, team player - Problem-solving - Professionalism - Self-motivated, dedicated to learning **Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities** - Carry out maintenance, repair, and modification on bench and on aircraft as assigned to them and as required under supervision by a licensed or lead technician. - Ensure all maintenance and safety precautions are observed when carrying out assigned activities. - Sign work sheets and work cards for work accomplished - completely and accurately. - Report unserviceable equipment to their assigned licensed technician and/or lead technician. - Notify assigned licensed and/or lead technician of all defects discovered during routine maintenance. - Communicate when tasks are complete so the next trade can move onto the job. - Attending and completing training courses as assigned by company management. - Ensure the work environment is safe and clean. - Promote company values, vision and mission. - Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** - Excellent organizational skills. - Shows integrity, ingenuity, and assertiveness in the performance of tasks. - Must have strong troubleshooting skills with good quality workmanship. **Experience** - Currently attending a TAC accredited program for Electronics Engineering Technology or Technician **or** completed an Electronics Engineering Technologist or Technician accredited program. - Familiar with troubleshooting of electronics and electro-mechanical components and systems. - Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization. **Our recruitment commitments**: - ** We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.**: - Avmax Group offers a competitive compensation package including an optimal benefits plan and pension plan. - Avmax will accommodate the needs of applicants with disabilities throughout all stages of selection process.
