About Wild Flour Pizza Co

Wild Flour Pizza Co is a sourdough pizza shop in North Burnaby. Our focus is serving consistent and delicious pizzas built on a house-made sourdough crust. We take a lot of care in everything we do, from prepping most of our ingredients from-scratch in-house, to actually preparing and cooking the pizzas.

We are looking to hire full-time and part-time pizza cooks/customer service positions for our shop.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for pizza cooks/customer service reps to be a part of this new and exciting pizza concept. Experience is an asset but we can teach anyone with an openness to learn, a positive attitude and can thrive in fast-paced environments. We value applicants who understands a strong sense of urgency, while maintaining a lot of care and focus in their work. We have a small tight-knit team and are looking for applicants who will thrive in a busy food service environment.

We value a positive and constructive kitchen culture where mistakes are opportunities to learn. There is a lot of room to move up in responsibility if you desire and possibly become a shift lead/opener/closer in a few months.

Job responsibilities may vary depending on your preferences, and skill set but may include:

- Greeting guests and ensure they are well taken care of
- Taking orders and managing POS and delivery platform ordering operations as required
- Organizing completed orders and handoffs for pick-up
- Preparing ingredients and recipes as required
- Working clean and organized in an open kitchen concept
- Learning and executing the various steps of making the pizzas
- Ensuring great and consistent presentation before pizzas and salads are served
- Keeping a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen through daily/weekly cleaning
- Opening and closing the pizza shop by going through closing checklist
- Washing/cleaning equipment/dishes as needed
- Ensuring all food and other items are labeled and stored properly

What We're Offering:

- Become a part of a new and exciting concept serving high quality sourdough pizzas
- 30-40 hours/week for full-time, 20-30 hours a week for part time
- Opportunities to advance in the kitchen and store
- Starting hourly wage between $16/hr - $20/hr depending on experience
- Extended health and dental benefits for full time employees after 3 months probation
- Full tip share paid biweekly at $3-4 per hour of time worked
