TAG Hardware designs, engineers, and manufactures products for the closet and modular furniture industry. Our 30,000 square foot manufacturing plant is located in South Surrey, British Columbia. The facility also houses our head office, plastic injection molding machines, assembly work stations, and a warehouse, where we develop and produce our patented products for customers globally.

**About the Role - Job Description**

Working in a team of 3 Customer Service Specialists, you will report directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing. The Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for providing level 1 Customer Support by building and maintaining day to day relationships with our customers including:

- Ensuring all sales orders are entered or imported correctly into Syspro.
- Primary goal is accurate sales order entry, confirmations and invoicing of customers.
- Ensuring all non-conformities are resolved with the customer in a timely manner.
- Responding to the customer’s questions relating order status, or damaged / late shipments.
- Coordinating with both TAG sales and production to ensure customers needs are being met.
- Ensuring production jobs are generated in WIPs, confirming and checking orders.
- Sending order confirmations to customers.
- Providing overflow and backup support for shipping paperwork.
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every customer
- Providing customers with a go-to person that can resolve their concerns and questions by being the primary point of contact for our customers ordering requirements.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Primary point of contact for our customers’ ordering requirements, requires a strong relationship to be built with the customer’s order desk.
- Sales Order entry & confirmation
- Opening and closing of production jobs
Handling all incoming calls related to order questions / delays / damage etc.
- Outgoing Logistics support
- Other duties and reporting as requested
**Personal Qualifications**
- Strong and positive interpersonal skills
- Relevant experience in a customer service environment
- Exceptional attention to detail, spread sheet analysis and strong math skills
- Strong computer skills and analytical ability
Experience in a small to medium sized operation with less than 100 employees
- Post secondary education in a related field
