**Position: Manufacturing Equipment & Facility Maintenance Technician**

**Department: Operations**

We are seeking a **Manufacturing Equipment & Facility Maintenance Technician** to join our maintenance team. This role plays a key part in supporting reliable operation of our wood and steel manufacturing equipment, performing both preventative and reactive maintenance, and helping ensure consistent plant uptime.

** Key Responsibilities**
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and building systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on production equipment.
- Support maintenance activities for both facility buildings and plant infrastructure.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and urgent maintenance needs, including occasional evening call-ins.
- Assist in maintaining an organized work order system for preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Identify and communicate equipment issues, improvement opportunities, and parts requirements.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to complete maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
- Follow established procedures and safety practices to reduce downtime and improve operational reliability.
- Support contractors and subcontractors performing specialized repair or service work when required.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Own transportation and reliability to commute to site.
- Availability for occasional evening call-ins.
- Preventative maintenance program experience is considered an asset.
- Hydraulic system troubleshooting or repair experience is considered an asset.
- Electrical controls or VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) knowledge is considered an asset.
- Experience with industrial woodworking equipment is considered an asset.
