**The Role: Marketing & Events Coordinator**

**Who are you?**

**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities**:

- Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and product development, to ensure consistency in messaging across all channels.
- Develop and maintain marketing collateral, such as brochures, presentations, and case studies, to support sales efforts.
- Assist in the planning and execution of company events, including conferences, webinars, and trade shows.
- Assist with maintaining and updating the company's website and landing pages, ensuring that they are up-to-date and user-friendly.
- Assist in media relations activities, including writing press releases, following up with the media, and pitching stories.
- Manage the company's social media accounts, posting regular updates and engaging with followers.
- Support in the creation of thought leadership content, such as white papers, blog posts, and articles.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Experience:

- 2-3 years of experience in marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Adobe Creative Suite experience is an asset.
- Experience with social media management and analytics tools.
- Knowledge:

- Familiarity with marketing automation tools, such as HubSpot or Marketo.
- Knowledge of website content management systems, such as WordPress.
- Education:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Characteristics:

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Adaptable to changing priorities
- Able to manage time and meet deadlines
