Our health care and rehabilitation team is seeking a part-time rehabilitation assistant to work with our team to support clients in clinic, at their homes or virtually; with the full support of Registered Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and other associated health professionals.
**Responsibilities**:
Implements rehabilitation interventions with the client as directed
Analyze relevant medical information to determine appropriate rehabilitation goals
Maintain accurate records
Assist in educating patients with home exercise programs and use of equipment
Participate in education and staff development courses
Must have a Kinesiology degree or Occupational Therapy/ Physiotherapy Assistant certificate or other equal training from an accredited college program or education and clinical experience related to rehabilitation services
Knowledge of principles, methods and equipment used in occupational therapy, body mechanics
Able to understand and interpret complex written or verbal instructions
Excellent customer service skills
Valid driver’s license
French and Arabic speaking are assets
