Pool Coating Labourer

Dunk Pools, a division of The Hazelwood Group, is seeking for a **Pool Coating Labourer** to join the team based in Nanaimo, BC. This is a full-time, temporary position. As part of the coatings crew, the Labourer will perform work at the dunk Manufacturing facility in Nanaimo and will also travel off-site to various locations around the province to perform work.

**Compensation**
- $23 to $27 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

**Summary**

The Pool Coating Labourer will assist with removing, disposing of old coating, masking, and prepping pool surfaces. Working as part of a two-person team, the Pool Coating Labourer will also be responsible for loading and unloading materials and equipment to various locations and ensuring a clean worksite.

It is expected that all work be performed in a safe manner, cleaning and maintaining the jobsites, workspaces, ventilation equipment, compressors, and all personal protective equipment. The Pool Coating Labourer is expected to conduct their work in a professional manner and display excellent customer service when at a home site. Other responsibilities include recording and reporting any defects observed, therefore, high attention to detail is necessary to ensure the highest quality.

**Requirements**:

- Remove old pool coatings from customer’s pools.
- Clean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air, and personal protective equipment.
- Mark, record, and report defects.
- Clean and perform preparation of worksites.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications.
- Mask and prep pool surface for new coating.
- Caulking and finishing pool.
- Clean up site.
- General maintenance of coating equipment and tools.

**Salary**: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
