Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor, the Warehouse lead hand is responsible for assisting the efficient day-to-day supervision of the warehouse with particular emphasis on the management of the warehouse personnel and the implementation of warehouse action plans.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Provides direct supervision to warehouse personnel.
- Ensures the safe, clean and efficient operation of the warehouse to meet our service levels
- Assists in training, developing, and motivating personnel for increased effectiveness.
- Makes recommendations programs to improve warehouse operations
- Contributes to productivity creating programs for hiring, training and professional development.
- Adhere and suggest safety measures
- Maintains a professional and courteous relationship with customers and ensure that all personnel do the same.
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse
- Communicate with customers when required

**Requirements**:

- At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Excellent supervisory skills
- Willing and able to lift heavy objects
- Previous experience with hand tools - assembly experience an asset
- Willing to work with a team and solo at times
- Excellent attendance and communication
- Lifting, reaching required

**Salary**: $39,500/year

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
