**NOW HIRING**: Summer Car Rental Assistant

**LOCATION**: Centennial Carstar Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

**HOURS**:Full time seasonal, 40 hours per week (approx June - September).

**WAGES**: $15.40 - $17.50 per hour + benefits. Negotiable based on experience.

As a summer car rental assistant, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, assisting customers with rental inquiries, reservations, and vehicle returns. Your friendly demeanor and strong communication skills will ensure exceptional customer service, leaving a lasting impression on our clients. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, you'll contribute to the smooth operation of our rental services, making each customer's experience seamless and memorable.

**APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Extremely strong customer service and phone skills required
- Exceptional written, verbal and computer skills
- Must be reliable and show initiative
- Professional personal presentation
- Applicant must be organized, capable of multitasking, prioritizing, working independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license

**MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide quotes to customers and book car rental reservations
- Help maintain the organization of the rental fleet
- Assisting customers throughout the entire rental process
- Work with other locations to prevent scheduling conflicts
- Answer and directing telephone calls appropriately
- Take and relay messages if necessary
- Greet everyone in a professional, helpful and timely manner
- Scheduling customer appointments/ updating clients
- Filing invoices
