**Overview**
We are seeking an organized and enthusiastic summer student to support our human resources and scheduling departments. As the Workforce Coordinator/HR Assistant, you will assist with staffing coordination and HR administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in human resources, business administration, or healthcare management to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and caring environment.

**Duties**
- Assist with updating staff schedules in accordance with collective agreements, availability and operational needs.
- Support in filling shift vacancies by calling staff.
- Assist in maintaining employee records.
- Support onboarding tasks such as preparing orientation materials and documentation
- Assist with drafting internal communications and notices.
- Provide general office support including answering phones, filing, photocopying, and data entry.

**Qualifications**
- Currently enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary program.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 12 weeks

Pay: $16.00-$17.25 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2025-06-02
