**General Job Description**

Thomas, Large & Singer Inc. (TLS) is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our growing team.
Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Reporting, the Financial Analyst is responsible for handling
various accounting duties, supporting client business functions and driving process improvements. This
position will be based out of our head office in Markham, Ontario.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Monthly accounting reconciliations and related journal entries for assigned portfolio of clients.
- Manage various business functions for assigned portfolio of clients.
- Investigate and conduct analytics to resolve month end variances.
- Prepare reports and schedules for client and management reporting purposes.
- Support daily/weekly administrative functions (i.e. AP/AR data entry, client payment preps,

customer/vendor invoices).
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies.
- Maintain complex spreadsheet models.
- Ad Hoc analytics, projects and accounting tasks as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly initiative, self-motivated and quick to learn
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to handle changing priorities and schedules
- Must be detail oriented with strong problem solving skills
- Post-Secondary Accounting education or Accounting Designation (or in process)
- Sage X3 ERP proficiency an asset
- Experience with Trade Management tool an asset
