We are seeking a full-time, permanent Animal Care Attendant (ACA) / Veterinary Assistant.

Yonge-Davenport Pet Hospital is a busy state-of-the-art hospital that prides itself on excellent customer service and high-quality medicine and surgery.

Our team is comprised of 5 DVM's, 5 RVT's, 6 Client Care Representatives (Veterinary Reception) and 4 ACA's.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working in a veterinary clinic
- Experience with animal restraint, specifically dogs and cats, preferred
- Experience with the veterinary software AVImark is preferred.
- Reception experience is preferred, not mandatory

**Details About the Position**:

- Customer service responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, reaching out to clients regarding their food and medication orders
- Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat, clean, and well stocked at all times
- Assisting our Veterinarians and Technicians with animal care, predominately restraint
- Patient care including feeding and walking in-hospital patients, as needed

The position involves working weekday shifts between 8am and 7pm, as well as weekend rotations (every other Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4pm).

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
