**Position Title: UPHOLSTERER**

**Reports to**: Production Manager

**Work Schedule**:Regular, Full-Time, Days

**Job Summary**: Reporting to the Production Manager, the Upholsterer ensures Allseating’s superior product by using a variety of upholstery methods and skills to upholster seat components in accordance with design and quality standards and instruction.

**Responsibilities**:
The Upholsterer is responsible for the following:

- Following work instructions;
- Inspecting fabric for quality;
- Ensuring fabric is correctly placed on frame; may require pulling and/or stretching of fabrics;
- Attaching fabric to frame with pneumatic staple gun;
- Affixing work order number and model number as necessary;
- Loading completed items onto designated conveyance vehicle;
- Maintaining a clean work environment;
- Adhering to all company and government legislated policies and procedures; and
- Other duties as required.

**Job Requirements**:

- Must be capable of performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment;
- Must be comfortable and capable of using a pneumatic staple gun;
- Must be able to stand for extended periods;
- Must be physically fit with a proven ability to work well with hands;
- Must be able to work with others;
- Must be able to work efficiently and effectively;
- Must be a critical thinker with strong problem solving skills;
- Must possess a strong attention to detail; and
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- High school diploma;
- English language proficiency (read/write/speak); and
- Previous upholstery experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.

**Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required**:

- Steel-toed shoes
- Safety glasses (will be provided)

**Work Environment**:

- Manufacturing setting
- Day Shift (7:30am -4:00pm) with occasional evenings and weekend overtime
