**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Administer medications and perform procedures as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Participate in data collection and research initiatives to improve patient care practices.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Assist in phlebotomy tasks as needed within the scope of practice.
- Engage in home care visits when required, ensuring continuity of care for patients.

**Requirements**:

- CPSO licensed Physician Assistant or CCPA.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Previous hospital experience is preferred, with a focus on acute care settings.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly Epic and Cerner.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures related to patient care.
- Experience in pediatrics or pain management is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: $27.15-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
