Major Job Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping - managing daily bookkeeping on an accrual basis including invoicing, collection, entering bills and making payments, etc., performing monthly bank and credit card. reconciliation and preparing internal financial statements for management review.
- Payroll - reviewing scheduled payroll details for employees; reconciling payroll information; filing WSIB returns, issuing ROEs, etc.
- Tax - corporating with the accountant to prepare and file HST, QST, and PST returns, and annual T4 and T4A slips.
- Others - assisting with other accounting and administrative duties, projects, and special assignments as required.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years experience, work experience in the construction industry is preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, MS Office (Excel and Word), and quick learner with computer and new technologies
- Willing to run multi-tasks and take on non-essential work
- Fluent in English
- Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently with the high level of accuracy
- Highly organized with both paper and electronic documents
- Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with vendors and colleagues
- Able to work under stress in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

- Markham, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
