**POSITION: Building Services Lead**

**SALARY: $43.267 - $54.084**

The role of the Building Services Lead is to protect, promote and enhance the Building Services team at STEGH. Reporting to the Manager, this individual will assist in the day-to-day administrative operations of the Building Services team while advancing a culture of innovation and best practices. The management of infrastructure projects and advancing the use of technology in Building Services are foundational elements of this role.

**HOURS**:
Regular day working hours, with occasional need for evening or weekend availability.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:

- Post secondary education in the field of Licensed Electrician, Controls Technologist, Engineering or equivalent
- Three (3) to five (5) years of recent, relevant experience; preference will be given to those with Hospital experience
- Advanced understanding of governing guidelines and practices such as, but not limited to Ontario Building Code, CSA Standards, Hospital policies and procedures, Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Prior experience with administrative duties such as staffing, reviewing invoices, arranging contractors, KPI reporting
- Experience working directly with Project Consulting teams, General Contractors, internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage project processes (progress, change management, finances, etc.)
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to stakeholders as needed.
- Expertise to track & manage the project scope, schedule, and budget throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate applicable project meetings (design, planning, construction OAC, etc.) with appropriate stakeholders.
- Development and implementation of communication plan with all applicable project stakeholders (internal and external)
- Previous experience developing and improving project management standards, digital strategies and best practice procedures
- Experience working with Building Automation Systems (BAS); experience with Archibus would be considered an asset
- Above average communication skills, verbal and written
