**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
As Agile Development Manager, you will lead both external and internal software development teams to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently. You will report to the VP, Software Development, work on site at our Ottawa office, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
You will interface with Scrum Masters and development teams to ensure effective agile ceremonies, drive meaningful retrospectives, and share continuous improvement feedback with leadership. You will foster a positive, productive work environment while championing innovation and technical excellence.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Lead and coach agile development teams in implementing Scrum, Kanban, and other agile methodologies
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Manage engineering processes ensuring timely, quality delivery within prescribed architecture
- Participate in the refinement of epics and stories
- Track and report on key metrics including velocity, cycle time, and team performance
- Remove impediments and facilitate cross-team coordination
- Mentor team members on best practices and foster continuous improvement culture
- Interface with stakeholders to communicate project status, risks, and requirements
- Stay current with agile methodologies and software development trends

**WHO YOU ARE**
**Required Qualifications**
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in a similar Agile Development Manager or Scrum Master role
- Hands-on software development experience with modern programming languages
- Experience with SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of SDLC and software architecture principles

**Skills & Competencies**
- Excellent leadership, communication, and facilitation skills
- Experience with agile project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar)
- Strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision making
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional teams
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing concepts
- Conflict resolution and change management abilities

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Advanced agile certifications (CSP, PSM II, SAFe) an asset
- Experience in semiconductor, hardware, or technical industries an asset
- Large-scale platform or enterprise software development background
- Experience managing globally distributed teams and vendor partnerships
