**Qualifications**

Education/Experience: - Bachelor’s Degree in related Engineering or Technology field - 3-5 years experience in CNC programming system and manufacturing environment - Manufacturing Knowledge of fluid power components would be an asset - Good knowledge of manufacturing, processes, production reporting Certifications: - CNC programming certificate (would be an asset) - Fluid power certificate (would be an asset) - CME certificate (would be an asset) Skills: - Knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials. - Must be able to communicate at all levels of the organization and with suppliers. - Understanding of CNC controllers Fanuc controls, conversational controls. - Good understanding of ISO Quality System - Knowledge of CNC Lathe and Mill processes - Understanding and design of cutting tools and fixtures - Understanding and practice of lean principles - Good communication skills to all levels of the organization and suppliers. - Good organizational and intra personal skills - Understanding of Hydraulics and Pneumatic systems - Computer Skills -Microsoft Office Suite, Project, Inventor, Edgecam - Excellent problem-solving techniques and methods - Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Understanding of Health and Safety Act NOTE: This position requires is not a hybrid or remote role. The successful individual will be required to be in the facility to support the manufacturing team.
