**Job Type**: Permanent, Full-time
**Hours (Days)**: 5:15pm - 2:30am (flexibility as needed), Monday - Friday, Weekends as needed
**Work Location**: Onsite (Milton, ON)
**Hourly Rate**: $19.72
**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Verify specifications on beginning of runs and conduct periodic checks throughout the shift using proper documentation.
- Ensure food safety compliance and specified quality parameters are met in each run.
- Ensure line and area paperwork is completed accurately.
- Ensure food and personal safety hazards are corrected quickly and effectively to meet company and legislative requirements.
- Prompt resolution and follow through on issues and escalate when required.
- Operate cartoner layouts.
- Operate shrink wrap and flow wrap and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Complete a metal detector or X-ray check.
- Understand how to setup data code on the cartoner.
- Print outer labels.
- Run various Packaging lines and complete a changeover with mínimal support.
- Complete Skid Pulling.
- Train other Junior Packaging Specialists and General Labourers on basic tasks.
- Other tasks as assigned.

**What We're Looking For**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of Food Manufacturing experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Collaborative work style.
- Excellent communication skills.

**Bonus Points If You Have**:

- Dessert Manufacturing Facility or Bakery experience.
- Strong BRC (or similar GFSI) knowledge or experience.
- Strong knowledge of WHMIS, Chemical Handling, HACCP, GMP, OHSA and regulatory requirements.
