Accounts Payable Manager

And we're just getting started.- Join us in our mission to break down barriers to communication and free the flow of conversation for people everywhere.Responsibilities will include development of purchasing policies and procedures and ensuring company-wide compliance, bi-weekly vendor payment runs, month-end and year-end activities, and liaising with business leaders across the organization.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Develop and maintain the end-to-end Accounts Payable process at TextNow, which includes all accounting and clerical tasks related to efficient maintenance and processing
- Enter and upload all vendor invoices into the system, adhering to correct department coding
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Execute all payment transactions such as ACH, wires, and ensure that they are completed accurately and on time
- Ensure the Accounts Payable payment processes have proper controls in place to manage risk
- Manage the accounts payable month-end closing process, including the accrual of expenses, prepaids, balance sheet reconciliations, analysis, and filing of sales tax returns
- Enter and reconcile all credit card transactions
- Maintain and collaborative relationship with internal & external customers
- Assist in design, development and implementation of new processes including the rollout of a PO system
- Partner with procurement team to support the purchase requisition and purchase order system according to company policy
- Partner with FP&A team to ensure expenses are recorded properly and in line with budget
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Attend and participate in cross-functional meetings with Finance, Procurement and Legal
- Support a variety of initiatives and systems implementation to help TextNow gain efficiencies

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounting
- Degree level or equivalent in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems. Netsuite preferred but not essential
- Advanced data entry, attention to details and management skills
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proactive attitude with desire to continuously improve working practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Interpersonal, team and partnering skills
- Must be able to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Ability to respond to shifting priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to build strong relationships quickly and interact with all levels of the business with ease
