**Schedule**: Monday Thursday, 9am 2pm, 20hrs/wk, Hybrid
**Compensation rate**: $30-$32/hr

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver classroom and laboratory instruction for the VTA program, following established curriculum and lesson plans.
- Facilitate hands-on labs and demonstrations to reinforce practical learning.
- Evaluate student performance through quizzes, assignments, and exams, and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance and grades, and submit required reports in a timely manner.
- Support students in developing practical skills and theoretical knowledge to prepare for practicum placements and future employment.
- Utilize the Canvas learning management system to manage course materials, post grades, and communicate with students.

- Strong industry knowledge and hands-on skills relevant to veterinary practice.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present material clearly and facilitate group learning.
- Ability to motivate, mentor, and inspire students.
- Professional demeanor, high standards of behavior, and commitment to student success.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrative staff.
- Strong organizational skills to manage grading, attendance, and student feedback.

**Qualifications**
- Ten years work experience in the related career.
- Credential in adult education and/or prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with learning management systems, preferably Canvas.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
