**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support all aspects of the clinic; from clients to patients and everything in-between, in providing high-quality care. Your responsibilities will require extensive cross-training for both the front and back of house tasks. These tasks include assisting with both client and patient care duties, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for both patients and our team. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about animal care and looking to build a new career or grow within the veterinary field.

**Your assets**:

- Previous experience in a veterinary hospital
- Proven excellence in maintaining accurate medical records and updating patient files
- Providing compassionate care to animals, ensuring their comfort and well-being
- Passionate about educating pet owners on proper animal care and health maintenance
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
- Experience in fast-paced environments with the ability to troubleshoot decisions quickly and efficiently
- Ability to handle animals safely and with care; fear-free certified or the drive to become certified
- Attention to detail in following protocols and procedures
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn from experienced staff members
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and situations
