**The role**
We’re looking for an energetic, self-motivated Account Representative to service existing customers and grow new business across a defined BC & SK territory. You’ll be an ambassador for Akhurst—building relationships, generating leads, presenting quotes, and closing sales while delivering exceptional customer service.

**What you’ll do**
- Prospect and grow business in your assigned territory; generate quality leads and manage a full sales pipeline.
- Service and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Collaborate with Sales Administrators and Product Specialists to prepare accurate proposals and quotes.
- Respond to website and phone leads within one business day and follow up on quotes and opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date records in the company CRM (activities, opportunities, contacts).
- Travel to customer sites and industry trade shows as required.

**What we’re looking for**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an outside Account Representative (B2B sales).
- Knowledge of the metal fabrication industry (lasers, welding, production equipment) is highly desirable.
- Strong organization, follow-up, and communication skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office; CRM experience (Microsoft Dynamics/CRM an asset).
- Self-starter attitude, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel within the territory.
