Valeo Pharma, a Canadian pharmaceutical company that prioritizes innovation and growth, is currently recruiting for a Key Account Manager, Specialty Division to join our commercial team. Please see below for further details.

Assigned Territory: Montreal East, Quebec

Core Activities
- Work strategically in order to increase the notoriety and reputation of the pharmaceutical products of the company in the assigned therapeutic and geographical area.
- You will report to the Specialty Business Unit Head
- Develop a strategic account plan, perform market analysis at territory level, implement and monitor plan.
- You will lead account activities through a deep understanding of local issues, policies and political dynamics, sociological factors, and economical factors.
- You will develop formulary listing account strategies and provide clinical and operational support.
- You will have a value-based approach by providing support through cost-benefit and budget impact, clinical evidence, burden of disease and HCP education/operational support.
- You will identify and partner with key influencers and decision makers within your accounts to help secure formulary listings and support product advocacy.
- Lead strategic partnerships with key accounts and stakeholders to co-create value-based business solutions.
- You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders in order to drive business and bring value.
- Collaborate with other KAMs, MSL, Marketing department and Business Unit Director in order to drive business and bring Valeo products as the solution.
- Initiate and organize other supporting activities (e.g., Education awareness programs, sponsorship, etc.).
- Effectively engage with customers through various forms of blended engagements while using digital tools where appropriate.

Competencies
- You have demonstrated success in prioritizing customers based on data, insights, and strategic segmentation
- Hospital formulary listing experience is preferred.
- You are results oriented - clearly focusing on your objectives
- You effectively communicate both face to face, and virtually using the most optimal tools.
- You are highly comfortable focusing plans, without the need for large corporate structures: In fact, you PREFER smaller more agile companies
- You are not scared to fail, and when you do, you pivot quickly and share your learning
- You innovate continually driving new ways of implementing on strategic plans
- Asset: Biosimilar experience, anticoagulation knowledge or you can demonstrate the ability to learn this therapeutic area
- You positively impact and influence others and quickly establish credibility while building strong business relationships
- You are well-organized, efficient about territory management, with strong communication and business skills
- You are committed to a developing a cohesive team environment
- You enjoy and willing to travel frequently

Experience Required
- You possess a Degree in Science, Business or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar positions as Medical Representative or Key Account Manager.
- You are fluent in English (French speaking an asset)
- You hold a valid driver's license (a valid driver abstract requested at time of acceptance)
