**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Driving & Delivery**:
- Safely operate AZ trucks to deliver lumber, building materials, and supplies to customer sites and company locations.
- Secure loads properly and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT and company standards.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, logs, and inspection reports.
**Yard & Equipment Duties**:
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks using forklifts or other material-handling equipment.
- Inspect, clean, and perform minor maintenance or repairs on trucks, trailers, forklifts, and other yard equipment.
- Support yard operations including organizing inventory, staging materials, and ensuring a clean and safe work area.
- Help identify and report mechanical issues early to minimize downtime.
**Mechanical & Maintenance**:
- Conduct routine checks and light repairs such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire checks, and minor mechanical fixes.
- Coordinate with service providers or mechanics for larger repairs when needed.
- Keep maintenance logs up to date and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
**Qualifications**:
- Valid **AZ Driver’s License** with a clean driving abstract.
- Minimum 3 **years of AZ driving experience** (flatbed or lumber delivery preferred).
- Basic mechanical knowledge and hands-on maintenance skills (automotive or heavy equipment experience an asset).
- Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment (training or certification an asset).
- Physically fit — able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in outdoor conditions year-round.
- Strong attention to detail, safety-oriented, and dependable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
