**Drill Operators (Air/Mud Rotary)**
**Aquatech Dewatering** specializes in providing full turn-key contract services related to Groundwater Management.
We are adding **Drill Operators (Air/Mud Rotary) **to support our expanding Drilling Division. Our Drill Operators will take the lead in operating and maintaining our advanced drilling technology equipment.
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare equipment and material as per schedule and coordinate a well-planned start for each new project through to completion.
- Operate and maintain drilling equipment to ensure all deliverables are successfully and safely completed.
- Comply with contract requirements, including daily reporting.
- On completion of work assignments, always ensure equipment is clean, serviced, fueled and ready for the next project.
- Participate with supervisor in maintaining inventory levels of all critical items to support the drilling operations.
- Majority of work is in Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
- Some travel required, work out of town for periods of time (max 2-week intervals), and some sites can be in remote areas (i.e. mine sites).
**Qualifications and Required Experience**
- College Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years’ experience as an Operator; small diameter micro pile drilling an asset
- Valid Class 1 Ontario Water Well Technician Licence a requirement
- Class AZ drivers licence an asset
- 0-8 ton boom licence an asset
- Understanding of geology and different methods of drilling
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to weld using an arc welder is an asset
- Ability to operate drilling associated support equipment (backhoe, forklift, excavator etc) is an asset
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and on a daily basis.
- Uninhibited ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, pull, reach and grasp.
- Sporadic exposure to outdoor weather, shop and job site conditions.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
