**SUMMARY**

Transfer both Manual and Automatic Trucks between locations on behalf of Mid-Ontario Truck Centre. A valid license is required to drive Manual trucks

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Ability to operate a manual (standard) Truck**:

- Perform vehicle inspection prior to vehicle operation to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order and record in the Driver’s Daily Log &
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicle to immediate supervisor
- Load, shunt and unload product, packaging, tooling and dies between and outside of Mid-Ontario facilities as scheduled.
- Ensure that freight is properly loaded, secured and protected from the outdoor elements
- Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete, accurate, signed and submitted as required
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe cab and trailer - interior and exterior
- Present a professional, courteous and respectful manner to all personnel - internal and external encountered ;
- Comply with requirements as outlined in the OHSA, WHMIS company handbook and all other company issued memos and policies including proper use of appropriate PPE. Follow business code of ethics and communicate to team.

- Valid AZ license, with Manual operation
- Driver’s Abstract must be clean and cannot have more than 3 points

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is required to sit, walk, stoop, lift and bend.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
- The noise level in the work environment is minor.
- Ability to lift 23 KG (50 Lbs)
