**Job Title: Production and Warehouse Assistant**

In addition, Ecolo engineers distinct pieces of equipment in its recently expanded warehouse in Toronto, including pneumatic delivery systems, vapor delivery systems, and portable oscillating vapor cannons, developed exclusively for commercial, industrial and municipal odor control.

**Responsibilities**:

- Quality chemical manufacturing, blending, filling, and labeling packaging
- Organize production activities and coordinate work in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner to ensure internal and external customer needs are met
- Plan production volumes; reporting those planned and scheduled volumes to the supervisor
- Track key indicators of the production activities including safety, efficiency, waste, downtime, labor costs, any industrial accidents, and ensure expectations are met or exceeded
- Organize production activities in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner to ensure internal and external customer needs are met
- Evaluate and clear out risks of dangerous goods storage and production, compliance with fire and building code
- Implement a comprehensive and practical plan for handling the production and storage of dangerous goods
- Continuously improve production operations to maximize profit and minimize cost
- Inventory control: actively organize, monitor, and participate in the cycle inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy & successful year-end audits.
- Handling and storing chemicals in a safe manner
- Picking, palletizing, and securing orders for shipment
- Driving standup Raymond Reach and forklift
- Assist with the timely shipment delivery
- Coordinate with other departments to determine the progress of work and completion dates
- Compile reports on inventory levels
- Assist in reviewing and communicating production status reports
- General cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse
- Ensure company information stays confidential
- Comply with all Company/Plant policies and Regulatory guidelines
- Extensive knowledge of quality management systems and standards
- Troubleshoot production issues and in general keep the operation running smoothly
- Develop preventative maintenance plans and document processes for each area in the department
- Participate in future planning of the company and facility, primarily focused on moving, equipment needs, volume growth, and improving efficiency
- Performs other related duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. A college degree is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing facility
- Previous experience in chemical production & planning, loading/unloading trucks, wrapping, and strapping skids, and other related fields
- Forklift/Reach experience and/or license
- Understanding of WHMIS labeling and ability to identify potential work hazards
- Basic Dangerous Goods Training
- Strong ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand for periods of up to 4 hours at a time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. several times each day.
- Flexibility, ability, and willingness to switch shifts to cover vacation, sickness, overtime, etc. based on business needs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000 - $48,000 per year. Comprehensive group benefits after 3 months of probation
