The Legal and Corporate Services Department is an integral part of YVR, responsible for ensuring that our operations comply with laws and regulations, managing the organization’s legal risks, and protecting the organization’s interests.

**Position overview**

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Support the implementation process of short and long-term plans, such as conducting risk assessments and benchmarking with industry best practices pertaining to data privacy and protection, information security and cyber security
- Work with the Senior Privacy Analyst, Privacy/Cyber Team, key stakeholders, and internal clients to understand business objectives and address privacy risks
- Assist with the designs of our organizational privacy trainings, policies, procedures, best practices, and guidance materials as necessary
- Review enterprise-wide contracts with respect to privacy provisions and draft revisions to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant privacy laws and compliance requirements

**Key qualifications include**:

- Minimum 2 years of recent privacy experience (preferably from consulting firms/large enterprise project teams) with expertise in federal Canadian and international privacy legislation and regulations (PIPEDA, GDPR, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree, majoring in information systems, computer science, engineering, statistics, accounting, legal, business administration or related areas
- CIPP/C, CIPM or other related IAPP certification(s) is an asset
- Expert in current data privacy issues, frameworks, emerging trends, and best practices
- Experience in implementing privacy and information security programs
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

**Salary Range**:$72,560 to $104,305 per annum, based on a 37.5-hour work week. This is individually tailored to reflect your unique experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

Performance-Based Incentive: Eligible for an annual bonus target at 7.5% of your annual salary.
