Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Bookkeeper to join our Saskatoon-Central, SK location at Earl’s Pharmacy.

- This is a 1-year term position with the possibility of an extension.
- 40 hours per week.
- The usual shifts will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

**Responsibilities**:

- Administer accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank deposits.
- Reconciliations.
- Receive incoming mail.
- Order and monitor office supplies.
- Administer filing, including prescription filling.
- Assist with mid-month and month-end nursing home billings.
- Process all care home patient statements at mid-month and month-end.
- Provide customer service including setting up payment options.
- Notify customers and the manager of delinquent accounts.
- Count Till and Float.
- Processing payments and responding to customer inquiries about accounts.
- Providing excellent customer service in person, over the phone and by correspondence.
- General office duties as well as miscellaneous tasks to support the Store Operator, Pharmacist, and central fill operations.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Previous bookkeeping/general accounting experience is required. This is an entry-level role.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written formats.
- Excellent ability to work as part of a team or independently.
- Professional attitude and ability to communicate well with customers and co-workers.
- Work steadily under deadlines.
- Ability to take initiative, direction, and prioritize.
- Professional image and proper grooming.
