Winpak Division is seeking a **Manager, Operations Excellence** (OE) to join their team based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Reporting to the Director of Operation, the Manager, Operations Excellence (OE) will lead and implement operational process improvements, aligning with Winpak Division's quality assurance and operational strategies. This role involves managing process improvement projects, collaborating with various teams, and shaping business strategies for cost containment, product enhancement, and process optimization.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Leadership and Team Management**:Lead the Process Specialist team, manage continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- **Process Improvement and Strategy Development**:Analyze and improve current processes, develop strategies to streamline operations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
- **Compliance and Performance Monitoring**:Conduct audits, represent the division in stakeholder meetings, and ensure alignment with standards like ISO 9001-2015 and SQF Code.
- **Sustainability and Environmental Impact**:Support environmental sustainability initiatives and identify opportunities for intellectual property related to process improvements.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), and Project Management (PMP).
- 10+ years of experience in operations management or process improvement roles.
- 5+ years of experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
- 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams.
- 3+ years of project management experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with data analysis tools, training in continuous improvement methodologies, supporting environmental sustainability initiatives, and working in regulated environments.
