Our client in the food industry is looking for an Operations Excellence Specialist to help expand their regional strategies in Canada. The successful incumbent will ideally have a background in food service, notably sushi restaurants. This role will involve ensuring franchise compliance, overseeing operations at multiple locations, and upholding quality control. Job Title: Operations Excellence Specialist Location: Winnipeg, MB (regional) Pay Range: $75k per year and company car provided What’s the Job? Visit at least three stores per day to ensure operational standards and compliance. Conduct quality control audits and address franchise violations. Support sushi franchisees and corporate locations until they are sold. Handle raw material delivery and operational issues in partnership with other company. Ensure all stores meet company’s quality and customer service standards. Management of sushi chefs at corporate-owned locations until they are sold to franchisees. Lots of travel to multiple locations within a work day; locations can be in and around Winnipeg area. What’s Needed? Strong background in the food industry, particularly in sushi or restaurant operations is required. Previous Managerial or Operational experience is preferred. Self-starter, capable of managing multiple locations independently. Experience with franchise operations is a plus. Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean abstract is required.
