We're looking for a Public Relations Manager to join our team in NoAm. You will be responsible for developing, executing and evolving our integrated strategy and managing and directing Lightspeed's external communications while aligning with our company mission and business strategy in North American markets.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Work closely with the Corporate and Product Communications and Executive teams to create a story-driven PR/Communications program that complements our IR strategy, corporate vision and marketing, brand and product roadmaps
- Help articulate an inspiring, visionary strategy and point of view for the Lightspeed corporate narrative.
- Evolve the strategy and collaborate with external agencies to execute on the company's external PR Program for corporate, investor, and in support of product-related news
- Collaborate with the IR team and external vendors to support IR-related releases around earnings, shareholder communications, or the company
- Ensure regular and constant cadence of news and company updates to increase awareness among merchants, investors, media, influencer and the general public with a focus on promoting the product roadmap, identifying newsworthy events, developing thought leadership and cultivating Lightspeed's spokespeople
- Identify and execute on opportunities that build brand and product awareness through key industry influencers
- Develop and execute comprehensive short and long term media relations plans and metrics at local, national and international levels across various platforms in North America
- Maintain, evolve and execute Lightspeed's corporate issues and crisis management program.
- Identify, cultivate, train and prepare Lightspeed spokespeople (Executives and Industry experts) so they are equipped to drive positive sentiment and brand awareness in the media, industry events (e.g. speaking opportunities) and social media.
- In association with Lightspeed's People & Culture, Legal, and IR teams, promote the company's CSR, ESG and DEI initiatives among key audiences.
- Ensure monthly reporting and metrics are tracked, reported on and shared with key stakeholders to ensure accountability for results.

**What you'll be bringing to the team**:

- 5-7 years of communications experience, driving linkages between internal and external communications and brand
- Track record working across leadership teams to build thought leadership platforms and programs
- Experience implementing innovative communications strategies with a focus on results
- Outstanding written, verbal, interview and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and adaptable with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a challenging, fast paced and team-oriented environment
- Ability to influence people and facilitate cooperation of internal and external partners
- Ability to understand key performance indicators, both quantitative and qualitative in a compelling way
