Tutor Teach (TT) came to life in 2020 as a way to teach French to children in the community. Since then, it has grown very rapidly to a team of approx. 150 teachers, all certified and making waves in the lives of the next generation Tutor Teach is predominantly in the Edmonton area but expanding quickly. Now assisting students from across Canada as well as students from down south Offering education, extracurricular and music services to students of all ages, in-person and online, every day of the week.

Our goal is to fill the ever-present learning gaps impacting students' ability to thrive and feel confident in the classroom. The education system is overloaded and cannot provide 1:1 assistance for students, so Tutor Teach stepped in with a talented roster of accredited teachers to propel students in their education, skills and self-confidence.

The instructors at Tutor Teach are passionate team players dedicated to making a difference with each student. We have created custom, proprietary lessons for our instructors and students to help strengthen the learning process. We always exceed expectations and have earned a retention rate of 98%

**Overview**
- Instruct in-person one-on-one music lessons with students in their homes.
- Complete strategic assessments of each student's abilities, learning style and personality to best assist their musical goals.
- Research and develop custom lesson plans for individual students.
- Provide detailed feedback to students and parents.
- Build long-term relationships with each student to help them succeed musically and personally.
- Create a safe space for students to learn, flourish and gain confidence.

**Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- Experience with children, teaching and/or mentoring.
- Previous work experience and/or professional musical training.

**Education**: For piano, grade 7 RCM (minimum)

**Responsibilities**:

- Assess each student's abilities to create a baseline for their musical learning, education & confidence.
- Select relevant curriculum-based music lessons and customize them to the student.
- Exude punctuality and preparedness for all interactions while following TT values.
- Teach with compassion, understanding, knowledge and excitement.
- Forge relationships with students and parents with open and prompt communication.
- Formulate a plan for each student to crush their musical goals and feel confident.
