**The Role**:
As In-Resort Experience Manager, your primary responsibility is to collaborate with The Adventure Group Whistler (TAG) and Gibbons Whistler Sales and Marketing team to craft and implement an effective sales strategy targeting both direct bookings and 3rd party resellers within the resort. You will also cultivate and maintain relationships with key 3rd party partners, organize sales incentives, oversee performance metrics, and represent Gibbons brands professionally in community and industry events, ensuring increased brand awareness and sales growth across various channels.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute a successful sales strategy in partnership with The Adventure Group Whistler (TAG) and Gibbons Whistler Sales and Marketing team.
- Nurture relationships with key 3rd party resellers and partners such as Whistler Hotels and Tourism Whistler.
- Identify and onboard new resellers within the resort.
- Coordinate and lead Product Knowledge sessions and Host Familiarization tours.
- Create and manage monthly sales incentives for resellers, track performance, and oversee sales contests.
- Build and manage affiliate programs to drive 3rd party sales for Gibbons brands.
- Represent Gibbons brands professionally at community and industry events.
- Oversee sales performance metrics and ensure timely updates to resellers.
- Maintain updated contacts for in-resort affiliates and participate in weekly operations updates and property checks.
- Cultivate personal relationships with in-resort resellers to enhance partnerships.
- Other duties as reasonably directed
**Requirements**:
- Proven sales or marketing experience, ideally in hospitality or tourism.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to collaborate with teams and external partners effectively.
- Experience in organizing sales events and managing sales incentives.
- Proficiency in data analysis and CRM software.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of Whistler's tourism industry is advantageous.
- Flexible schedule for occasional evening or weekend events.
- Results-oriented with a passion for sales growth and brand representation.
**Salary and Team Perks**:
- $45,000 - $55,000 annual salary + commission; based on experience and qualifications.
