**The Ministry of the Solicitor General, Ontario Provincial Police, and the Bureau Commander of Fleet, Supply and Weapon Services Bureau** are seeking a collaborative leader to join the Fleet Services Section. In this exciting, rewarding and challenging opportunity, you will lead and manage the business/operational planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of analytical support program delivery strategies and frameworks within the OPP, and to lead related partnership development and stakeholder consultations processes. Note: This is an operational position requiring a high level of engagement with the teams and stakeholders. The successful applicant will be required to report a work location in Orillia to perform their duties, five (5) days a week, in accordance with Ontario Public Service workplace policies. **About Us**: The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is one of North America's largest deployed police services with more than 5,800 uniformed officers, 2,400 civilian employees and 830 Auxiliary officers. We provide essential services that ensure the safety and security of the people of the Province of Ontario. The OPP is a division of the Ministry of the Solicitor General, the largest operational ministry in the province with a presence in every community across Ontario. We are the largest police service in Ontario and the second largest in Canada. The Fleet, Supply and Weapons Services Bureau (FSWSB) The focus of the Fleet Services Section is to acquire, maintain and administer the OPP's complete line of fleet products, including police pursuit vehicles, utility vehicles, marine equipment, seasonal equipment and unmarked units. Frequent and effective communication with front line personnel is critical to the success of Fleet Services initiatives. FSWSB manages one of the largest fleets in the OPS, consisting of approximately: - 5200 vehicles - 159 vessels - 500 ATVs, snowmobiles and trailers The Fleet Services Section is responsible for researching new law enforcement vehicles. Fleet Services staff support the development of new special purpose, custom vehicles from design to delivery (i.e., specialty trucks for northern Ontario, Armored Rescue Vehicles, etc.). Policy development regarding fleet selection, distribution and cost containment, as it applies to fleet operations, is also a key element of Fleet Services work.
