BridgeWay Family Centre provides free prenatal services, early learning and family support programs to pregnant women, and families/caregivers with children birth - 6 years of age. We are committed to providing the best support to our clients and sharing in their journey of parenting.

**If yes, in this role, you will**:
- Oversee the operational/strategic activities of Peel’s Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP). The CPNP program provides services and supports to improve the health and well-being of pregnant women (up to 3 months postpartum) that are facing challenging life circumstances that puts their health, and that of their babies, at risk.
- Oversee BridgeWay’s operational/strategic activities of the Community Action Program for Children (CAPC), and monitor/report on those offered by other CAPC agencies in Peel. Through family programs, the CAPC program supports the healthy development of young children from birth to age 6, who face challenges that put their health at risk.
- Oversee BridgeWay’s parent education programs which include in person and online educational workshops to pregnant women and families with children birth to 6 years of age. These include prenatal classes for expectant parents; and educational workshops (i.e. first aid/cpr, child development, baby weaning).
**Duties/Responsibilities**:
**Staff Supervision/Support**
- Supervise, coach and evaluate BridgeWay program staff, including Program Facilitators, Site Coordinators, Family Support Assistants, Dietitians and Social Workers
- In consultation with the Director, Operations, screen, interview and hire staff and contractors
- Work with Region of Peel volunteer department to coordinate on site volunteers
- Provide conflict resolution support within the multidisciplinary team, providing immediate support and decision making
- Arrange training opportunities and networking opportunities for frontline staff to ensure staff knowledge and competencies
- Ensure all BridgeWay staff promote CAPC/CPNP programs to agency clients
- Be a strong role model for staff, students and volunteers
**Program Support**
- Responsible for all services offered by the programs, ensuring they are running well, according to the program’s goals and objectives
- Conduct site visits on a regular basis
- Ensure cultural sensitivity and client confidentiality are preserved at all times
- Ensure the parent education program offers workshops reflective of client’s ongoing needs/requests; vetting new presenters within provided budget
- Monitor parent education presenters to ensure quality of workshops; messaging is reflective of current practices and family support principles
- Ensure programming reflects the Public Health Agency of Canada’s goals for the CAPC/CPNP programs
- Respond immediately to on site issues, providing problem solving/conflict resolution support to staff and clients during all programs
**Evaluation/Data Collection/Reporting**
- Evaluate program sites and provide recommendations regarding moving sites, site closures and opening new sites using community population projections, up to date statistics and potential partnership opportunities
- Assist with creation of project evaluation/measurement tools and ensure a minimum, annual program evaluation
- Oversee the compilation of data for program evaluation
- Maintain working knowledge of approved evaluation tools including but not limited to Healthy Start Participant Evaluation, Welcome Cards, CPPMT, Annual Reporting Tool and Funder requirements for evaluation
- Provide detailed monthly reports to funders and Director, Operations
- Prepare CAPC/CPNP work plan and complete regular review to ensure reflection of the current landscape
**Grant Proposal/Report Writing**
- Responsible for writing and tracking of grant proposals and reports, including seeking new grant opportunities
- Use up-to-date research and data to inform strategies and initiatives
- Identify community assets, issues and needs, tailoring these to funding opportunities
**Community/Partner Development**
- Participate on CAPC/CPNP Central Zone Committee
- Liaise with Peel Health on a regular basis to ensure the partnership remains strong and review the partnership agreement on a bi-annual basis
